DBD Agro Trading is a Dubai-based agricultural consultancy. We work with investors, owners and project sponsors in the Gulf and internationally, from the first look at an opportunity to the running of the operation.
Our background combines corporate finance and investment with hands-on management of large-scale farming, from crop and livestock production through logistics to export. We look at every project the way an investor and an operator would at the same time.

Advisory work for investors, owners and project sponsors, from the first screening of an opportunity to the day-to-day running of the operation.
Based in Dubai, we act as a local partner for international investors: we generate agricultural investment ideas in the UAE and the region, and screen them against operating and financial reality, so that only the opportunities worth a closer look reach the investor.
Economic feasibility of agricultural, land reclamation and irrigation projects: costs, yields, cash flows and funding needs, tested before capital is committed.
Financial assessment of agricultural investments, acquisitions and operating partners, from someone who has evaluated deals as an adviser and then had to deliver them as an operator.
For underperforming farms and agro-holdings: budgeting, reporting, cost discipline and a financial plan that follows the production cycle.
Management of large-scale crop, livestock, logistics and export operations, including the introduction of precision agriculture and modern farming technologies.

The UAE’s National Food Security Strategy 2051 aims to make the country the world’s best in the Global Food Security Index by 2051. Its objectives include sustainable food production through modern technologies, higher local production and international partnerships that diversify food sources. Our work supports projects in each of these areas.
